Oh, the Humanity!

Today as I was pulling out of my parking spot while running errands, an elderly man patiently waited in his car for my not-so-petite minivan to get out of his way. He smiled as he waited and then smiled and waved again as I drove past him. I just drove away thinking, "What a cute old man!"

This afternoon I found out the ski shop in Idaho Falls where I used to work has decided to take a chance on me and ordered quite a few of my hats for their store this winter.

And so, I feel like I need to pass along the good karma I've received from other human beings today, to you, all three of my readers.

Finally, the Giveaway!

I will be giving away one of my hats to one lucky commenter. All you have to do is leave me a comment. I'm not going to make you do anything because I hate those giveaways where you have to add someone's button to your blog, or tell them something funny, or jump through any type of hoop.

Just leave me a comment. That's it. The winner, who will be chosen at random, gets to choose any of my hats which can be found in my Etsy shop: janehenry.etsy.com.

p.s. Only two comments per person, please. Don't be greedy.

Now, get commenting and win yourself a cute hat! Maybe this one:

Or this, for all you ski bunnies out there!
p.p.s. I will "close" the comments on Monday evening at 9 p.m. (MST). So get 'er done before then!

Oooh! Me, me! Those are so cute! I'm so impressed by anyone that can make things. In the event the world needs to send people to populate the moon or something, I would definitely get left behind, as I have absolutely no useful skills. But I do enjoy mooching off the talents of others. : )

I wish there was only 3 readers, that would make my chances really good! ;) Pick me, please!? Pretty please with sugar on top!?

Count me in! Soooooooooo adorable. I wonder if I can convince Ryker to wear one? If not, I'll pick one for a grandchild. Uh-oh, that means I'll then have to buy 4 more cuz I can't give one of them a cute hat without giving all of them one.

I L-O-V-E everyone's comments -- you're doing wonders for my self esteem.

And yes, Mal, Jane is Ruby's middle name.

Oh and remember, to up your chances you can enter twice!

Celia,

I'm not going to sit here and go on and on about how cute the hats are, just so you think I'm telling you what you want to hear to win. Also, I'm not going to drop lines like "cous" because we aren't related and I don't have that extra connection. I won't even comment that we were in a crazy group of girls in High School that tried to give ourselves a nick-name only to have others name us Freak Show (I didn't realize at the time, that's not really a compliment). I'll just comment to say, I'd like to be considered for the contest.

Thanks,
Natalie

Cels Buddy-

Okay, so they ARE the cutest hats ever. I have seen some like those and drool over them every time! I just think you are so amazing that you can do different kinds even! Boys, girls, ski caps?! Get out! I mean, we are more than just blog buddies, we go way back. Who else could tell you that your middle name is Lorraine (I probably spelled it wrong) and that you were born in Germany? Okay, maybe everyone, but I thought I'd take my chance by commenting twice.

Loves,
Nattie

I just received an email claiming this winner won't actually be "random." Oh, yes it will!

Random.org. Ever heard of it?

I believe in honesty and fairness. It's what I do. I practically invented honesty and fairness.

Here is my real comment for chance #2... I DO want to win!! These are so uber cute, I can hardly stand it! And I CANNOT believe that you have time in your life with three little loves to make a business venture out of them- but I am glad you are, because I can't wait to purchase a few:)
Love- DOJ
PS It makes me hope this baby is a girl, cuz the ones on Ruby are to die for!
